Sterling Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) is an agent at the International Secret Intelligence Service - ISIS. He's just like James Bond... if Bond was completely devoid of empathy and had serious mother issues. These issues complicate the fact that his mother is Malory Archer, the head of ISIS. This leads to the two butting heads on a regular basis. It also doesn't help that both his Ex- long time girlfriend, Lana Kane, and her new lover Cyril Figgis both work for ISIS as well. His code name is "Duchess" and while Malory claims it was a randomly generated name through the ISIS computer, it also happens to be the name of her beloved deceased dog. Archer loves to live the extravagant lifestyle while on missions at the company's expense and leaves a trail of broken hearts behind him, but what he lacks in self control and tact, he makes up for in his skills as an Agent.

Lana Kane (Aisha Tyler) Is the smart, strong and sexy ex-girlfriend of Sterling Archer. She is also the the top field agent at ISIS. She now has a relationship with Cyril Figgis, the comptroller at ISIS. This often leads to awkward moments with Archer since clearly the ex-couple still have many unresolved issues. The two often bicker while on missions together, usually in the middle of a dangerous situation.


Malory Archer (Jessica Walter) Once a secret agent herself, Malory Is now the Chief Executive Officer of ISIS. She is also the mother of Sterling Archer, but the other employees needn't worry about special treatment for her son, as she is just as harsh and critical of him as she is with the rest of the crew.

Cyril Figgis (Chris Parnell) The Comptroller at ISIS. This often puts him at odds with Archer, who's operations account tends to be heavily inflated. Cyril is the boy scout type that always plays by the rules and generally lives much the opposite of the adventurous lifestyle of an ISIS field agent. This often leaves him feeling threatened by Archer's machismo as he is now in a relationship with Lana and can't help but notice that she is still drawn to Archer's dangerous side. He provides a safe stable, albeit somewhat boring, mate as opposed to being the self-centered, womanizing player that Archer is.



Cheryl (Judy Greer) is Malory's secretary and one of Archer's brief flings. While they were together, Archer would constantly get her name wrong as "Carol" leading to her having it legally changed. She obviously liked the switch as she's had changed it multiple times since to other names that begin with "C". Despite her conservative appearance, she's got a freaky side and has a fetish for violence when it comes to sexual acts.

Pam (Amber Nash) is the main source of gossip at ISIS. Telling Pam something, no matter how private, is like telling the whole office. Not a good trait for the head of Human Recourses to have. She often uses a dolphin puppet during her sessions with the employees, and her weight makes her yet another target of Archer's ridicule.



Woodhouse (George Coe) has been Archer's valet for many years. Despite having virtually raised Archer during Malory's years as a secret agent, he has to endure regular ridicule and unrealistic expectations from his uncompassionate employer.


Dr. Krieger (Lucky Yates) is the Lead Scientist of the ISIS Applied Research Division. He is responsible for all the amazing gadgets that the field agents use on their missions. Some of the uses of his inventions are questionable however, and he's not above using ISIS interns as guinea pigs.
